20090313-mousebag

Many thanks to Sue at mousenotebook who posted about a very inviting giveaway a few weeks ago. I didn’t win the first prize (300+ hexagons already basted to paper backing!) but Sue very generously expanded the giveaway and I won the privilege of choosing something from her shop

Well, it was easy enough for me to choose the green market bag, as I’ve been trying to stock up on cloth shopping bags yet find them a bit unwieldy in practice. The little matching case for this works out perfectly! It arrived yesterday. Thanks, Sue!

There’s other good news in our little community this week, too. Be sure to swing by and congratulate:

What about you? Did you have good news this week or do you know of someone who did?

  1. Last week was awash with good news, three amazing things happened in one evening. One was an extremely unexpected but favourable conclusion to a situation that haunted me much of the tail end of last year. Sorry to be so vague but I have no desire to go public with what was a personal matter. This week however has simply been perfectly normal!

  3. That little cloth bag looks very cool — I love it when they fold up so small. Plus, I just like the cute green gingham. And isn’t it fun when bloggers you “know” get some really cool recognition???

  5. @Thimbleanna: Definitely! The gingham is what “sold” me on that bag. I love to get excited about other people’s good news. It’s so satisfying!

  6. @anella: Thanks for sharing about your good news, however cryptic! I’m so glad you have had a turn of good (even unexpected) luck!
