I found a way to stitch and be a housewife at the same time. I do some cleaning and then I stitch for a little while and then I do some more cleaning and then some more stitching. I just thought I would say that I'm an academic scientist, so your post about what you'd rather be doing instead of academic writing really made me laugh. I'd usually rather be making saw dust and hitting my thumb with a hammer! (And by the way, my house is 500 square feet.)
